German office furniture market 2011: +15.8%

The German office furniture market has grown to a level of EUR 2.13 billion in 2011, an increase of 15.8% compared with 2010, according to the German association of German office furniture manufacturers, bso.

The highest growth rate was shown in storage furniture, +17.4%, and the lowest in seating furniture, +14.5%.

Exports increased by 19.0% and domestic sales by 14.4%. For 2012 the bso expects a single digit growth rate.
