Office designers took top awards in two categories at the 36th Annual Interiors Awards Breakfast last month. Winners were:
NeueHouse by Rockwell Group (large office)
Park + Associates (small office)
NeueHouse is a large, sophisticated co-working space for creatives in New York City. Along with 300 dedicated desks and 150 flexible workspaces, NeueHouse offers a library, seating for 75 on the multiuse steps, a screening room, and a recording studio.
Park + Associates, based in Singapore, redesigned a midcentury high school library as their new studio space. According to the Interior Awards jury, the space is “a beautiful example of the “anti-office” look – a reaction against the “typical bureau.” Primarily open, the space also includes a library, “The Stage”—a place to display furniture and accessories, and a few traditional enclosed offices.
