AP+I Design has implemented a new design for Building 13 of Cisco’s campus in San Jose, California.
The key was to design space that created several different sizes of flexible workspace types so employees pick the space most suited for their specific work needs of the day.
The public areas were designed to provide a variety of informal, multi-functional spaces. Social zones are bright and energetic. Circulation has multiple functions, creating casual interaction.
Corridors were broken up with seating, white boards and quiet niches. The café was opened up to incorporate open work space and social space within the design elements introduced into the environment.
