Czech professional furniture maker TECHO, part of Dutch Royal Ahrend, has redesigned its showroom in its headquarters in Prague, Czech Republic.
‘It was our intention to present ourselves differently from other companies. Our main aim was to show TECHO as a company with a modern approach, which does not fear brave and playful projects and use modern technologies.’ said Jiří Kejval, CEO of TECHO. The showroom was designed by Petr Kolář and his architecture studio ADR.
‘When creating the new showroom, we wanted to show that unconventional and attractive interior design is not a question of money, but of using smart and creative solutions.’ explained architect Petr Kolář.
‘We wanted our clients to feel the different types of spaces. Every meeting room has been created in an extreme design so as to intensify the feeling, and to make everything visible on the first impression. The furniture comes on the last place,’ added Mr. Kejval.
A stage with a large wide screen for presentations; a library, an acoustic phone box for private calls in the open space; a climbing wall, a billiard, and slides are all part of the TECHO showroom as well.
